The Issuer - PBMT Ventura - is a venture capital company that helps microfinance institutions raise funds. Your investment will be disbursed by the Issuer to multiple top-rated non-profit microfinance cooperatives.

This project is ideal for investors seeking a lower-risk investment with a high-degree of diversification, since investors' funds will be spread across a portfolio of multiple institutions.

Use of Funds

Your investment will be onwardly invested by the Issuer into microfinance cooperatives selected by the Issuer using a profit-sharing (mudaraba) model.

Profit Model

Financed institutions will use the funds primarily for inventory and equipment purchases using a murabaha (cost-plus) model.

Legal Structure

Investors receive a profit-sharing note directly from PBMT Ventura. PBMT invests into microfinance cooperatives using a profit-sharing note.

Investors can reasonably anticipate an 8% gross annualized return. After taxes and fees, investors should anticipate a 5.44% net annualized return.

Profit Sharing

Profit from microfinance activities wil be split in a ratio of 40% to the investor and 60% to the Issuer.

Tax Treatment

A 15% Indonesian local witholding tax will be applied on gross returns.

Indonesian withholding tax generally qualifies under tax treaties to avoid double taxation in investors' home tax jurisdictions. Investors should consult with their local tax lawyer.

Platform Fees

Blossom will collect a 20% carried capital interest on profits earned by investors. Blossom's fee is calculated after local withholding tax.

Central Java ("Jawa Tengah") is located on Indonesia's most populated island of Java and home to the city of Yogyakarta, often termed the "cultural capital" of Indonesian. Prior to indepdence and for a period of time following Indonesia's declaration of Independence, Yogyakarta served as Indonesia's capital city.

Traditionally, Central Java has been rich with a vibrant agricultural sector due to the extremely fertile volcanic-ash infused soil - furnished by Central Java's 11 volcanos - along with plentiful rains and mountain streams for irrigation. This land has been farmed for centuries, and ever inch of arable land is carefully cultivated in complex terraces that snake accross the mountainsides.

Along with the staple rice, corn, and soybean crops, Central Java also boasts plentiful fruit crops the top guava producing region in Indonesia and some unique, delicious tropical fruits that can only be found in these Volcanic mountains.
